What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Comment or edit Issue
- Default format is Youtrack Wiki.
- Save
- Edit
- Format is reset to Youtrack Wiki.
- Save
What is the expected result?
- Default should be Markdown as Youtrack Wiki is deprecated and Markdown is recommended.
- If i set one format, I don't want youtrack to change the selected format. This breaks all formatting and is annoying as hell.
What happens instead?
Since 2018.3 even after manually changing the format to Markdown it resets to Youtrack Wiki. This is driving me nuts. First a) It is annoying that I can not set the default to Markdown serverwide anywhere (at least I am not aware of it) b) why the hell do you reset it after I manually changed it, breaking all my formatting over and over again. I have to set it to Markdown now everytime I save a change again because it resets as soon as I edit a issue/comment.
Please provide any additional information below.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Make
Sprints
custom field conditional, depending onType
(for example show only forTask
) - Set default
Type
for custom field to a value that does not showSprints
(for exampleFeature
) - Create a version-based board linked to
Sprints
with default cardType
that does show theSprints
field (for example,Task
) - Click any of the "Add a card..." buttons or from the top menu "Create > Card..."
What is the expected result?
A new issue is created with type Task
and linked to the current Sprint via the Sprints
field.
What happens instead?
- "no permission to update issue sprint" error message pops up via plus buttons on board
- either nothing happens or a different error pops up when using the "Create" button
Please provide any additional information below.
Apparently the issue is internally created with the project default for Type
first (which does not have the Sprints
field due to the condition) and then before changing the issue Type
to the board default (which has the Sprints
field) the Sprints
value is set, and fails. It should be possible to set the issue type from board card default type before setting Sprints
, which would circumvent the bug in this case.

I don't care about JetBrains internal "bookkeeping" and do not want to receive an email every time my issue has been "triaged".
Configuring update notifications per field is probably too much.
So how about adding an option to not send notifications about the changes in "bookkeeping" fields like Triaged, Spent time, Verified by, Tester, etc.

I noticed that there were duplicated comments and broken images preview which appears after the second attender's answer, loaded by ajax.
My steps were next.
- Edit my first comment by adding the second attender's link: e.g @[attender_name]
- Post the second comment with image
- Appears the second attender's answer.
When I was checking the link to an issue, which I posted in one of the comments, I noticed this problem.

we need to write "meeting notes" in Confluence and also need to record "time tracking" of meeting automatically in Youtrack.(without extra work in Youtrack)
here is the question: is it possible to fetch spend time from confluence "meeting notes"?
here is the goal: when I get time report , it will show me how much time I spend in meeting.

I talked with the team and it seems that the first suggested scheme is too complicated. In the first implementation, I suggest the simpler way to add filters without sync.

After click to "Filter" icon, the filter appears under the search field. The filter contains 5 more popular filters and "Add Filter" button.
After selecting a value, button "Reset filter" appears. The query from selected value coping in the search field.
In "Add Filter" button a user can select another filter. After it "query label" coping in the search field and a user can select the value in search field dropdown

AND try this request:

but i need opposite filter:
