    The new issue link dialog that appeared on youtrack.jetbrains.com recently requires me to do more actions for the same intended effect. Let's assume I want to mark some issue as a duplicate.

    1. I click "Link issue", and the new dialog by default proposes to use the "relates to" option, and also blocks for ~1s in the process of pre-loading some relevant issues.
    2. I select the "duplicates" option instead of "relates to" (note this now requires two mouse clicks instead of one), after which the dialog blocks again for ~1s, pre-loading relevant issues. Note that I didn't change anything in the search box, so this new pre-loading seems completely unnecessary.
    3. I input the exact issue number, say KT-12345, which I want to link to, press Enter, and what apparently happens is that the string "KT-12345" is looked up in the project tracker, and a bunch of issues that mention that string are displayed. Pressing Enter here does nothing, I need to find the issue in that list, click on a check box, and then click Link Issue with the mouse. This is much more time-consuming than the old way where just inputting the issue id and pressing Enter would perform the link.

    Please return short list of linked issues on the top of issue page

    After updating to the new Youtrack version (2018.3.46727) very useful list of linked issue on the top of issue page was totally moved under Description section.
    I agree that new list of linked issues looks good visualize more inforation and so on, but you can't now just open issue page and take a look at linked issues. You must scroll down through large decription to find this block... ugh! Don't become Jira please. We love Youtrack so much for its usability and quickness.

    Hope your UX specialists will care about this question.

    Consider https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSCPP-23784. With the old design to navigate to the duplicated issue I could just click a link below the title. In the new design the links panel is after the issue description, so to perform the same navigation I have to scroll several screens down until I reach the panel. Is there an easier way to navigate to a linked issue?
    In the shortcuts list there's "Switch to links tab" but it's not doing anything for me. A shortcut that would make links visible would probably be useful.

    What steps will reproduce the problem?
    1. Create JS-workflow "Custom Scrtipt" my-module with
    exports.getValue = function () { return false;}
    2. Create JS-workflow "On-change Action" my-action with
    ...
    var myModule = require("my-module");
    var workflow = require("v1/workflow");
    action : function (ctx) {
    workflow.check(myModule.getValue(), "It's just FALSE");
    workflow.message("Ok!");
    }
    3. Attach my-action to an Project
    4. Do something with any task - it will produce Error
    5. Change my-module
    exports.getValue = function () { return true;}
    6. Do something with any task - it's still produce Error
    7. Open my-action and "insert space, delete space, save"
    8. Do something with any task - no error and "Ok" message

    What is the expected result?
    At step 6 it must use new version of imported script

    What happens instead?
    It uses (cached?) version of script

    Please provide any additional information below.
    Attach a code sample as text, a screenshot or screencast if possible

    It's very bad if some module is required by many rules.
    I think it's not much hard to make static code analyzer which build dependency tree and then using it to upgrade version of dependent rules when imported scripts are changed.

    From the related issue:

    provided I have the rights to edit a project, it would be awesome if I could just click some "Edit project" link available when reading a ticket or wherever the current project can be easily understood by YouTrack.

    The idea would be to show a control that allows direct access to project admin pages in single issue views. Something like this:

    When someone moves an issue to Kotlin project from ex. IDEA project, several fields are set incorrectly. Recent example of such an issue: KT-29011.

    In particular, the field "Priority" should have the value "No priority", which is the default for the Kotlin project. And, more importantly, the field "State" should have the value "Submitted" instead of "Open". When the issue is moved in state "Open" I don't see it in my queue of issues to process, so it's effectively ignored unless I stumble upon it by accident.
