What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Use custom (domain) user for the YouTrack service
- Upgrade YouTrack to the latest version using the MSI
- The installer will change the service user, letting the update fail because the service can't start
What is the expected result?
The service user should not be changed.
What happens instead?
Instead of the our (domain) user, another YouTrack user is used which hasn't the appropriate rights.
The setup fails because the service is not started.
Please provide any additional information below.
While the installer is at "Starting service", I have to change the service's user back and start the service manually.
Looks like JT-31853.
Last time I had this while upgrading from 2018.2 to 2018.4, but also when upgrading to 2018.2 last year.
