Start working with agile board.
Select empty backlog, create swimlane and try to move it into backlog.

Until there is no separation to 'Swinlanes'/'Orphans' it's not possible to drop swimlane there.

Usecase:

Tasks are organized hierarchically using parent/subtask relation.
Full task hierarchy represents our backlog.
For each product version we select certain subset of tasks which we'd like to add to agileboard.

The problem is that currently it is not possible to hang tasks from the middle of hierarchy on board.
YouTrack displays all tasks starting from the root.

Desired behaviour is displayed on the attached sketch.
(agileboard is configured to display large tasks as swimlanes (using special issue type as a marker), small tasks are diplayed as "orphans")

To user YouTrack in a plain way for Scrum the current Agile Board implementation is useless / problematic.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create issue US of type "User Story", create issues F1 and F2 as "Subtasks" of US with type "Feature", create issues T1 and T2 as "Subtasks" of F1 with type "Task", create issues T3 and T4 as "Subtasks" of F2 with type "Task"
2. Configure the "Agile Board" with swimlane as "Feature"
3. Go to "Agile Board" and try to add feature F1 - assumption is that you don't have the ressources to implement F1 and F1 in one sprint...

I would expect, that in the backlog "Swimlanes" F1 and F2 are listed (or as an alternative the tree view's down to the selected type for "Swimlanes" are shown) and that i can drag these features (Swimlanes) to the Agile Board with the subtasks of these issues (F1 and F2).

Instead the Backlog - Swimlane View shows nothing and the Backlog - Orphans View shows only "US" -> but as we assumed that there are not enought ressources to implement US completely n this sprint it makes no sense to drag the US completely to the board.

By the way, the Agile Board is a instrument to focus only on the relevant issues in the defined time period. Currently if i drag US to the Agile Board i have to open the US and then in a seprate view have to navigate to the relevant subtask i want to work on - it would be more good to have a real Swimlane based approach on the board - for the given example tasks see the attached sample (assuming that in configuration of "Agile Board" "User Storry" AND "Feature" are selected as swimlane types and ressources are available to implement F1 and F2 in one sprint)...

MoveBottom, MoveTop - these actions should not keep moved element selected, should select the next (before moving) element

We tried having a hierarchy like this:

• Epic I
  
  • Story A
    
    • Task A1
      
    • Task A2
  • Story B
    
    • TaskB1
• Epic II
  
  • ...

This could be modeled with subtasks, but as soon as Story A is a subtask of Epic I, it will no longer show up on the agile board. Using a custom link relation avoids this, but then they can't be shown in the issue list tree view.

Please, see this screencast. At 0:04 Backlog UI becomes broken immediately after swimlane is dragged back into Backlog. YT instance is http://agile-workshop.myjetbrains.com/, build 3961 (4.0.2). Happens in Chrome 21 and Firefox 14 on Mac OS X.

Try to create or edit existing matrix/time report in IE 9 - the onle message "Undefined" appears.
Everything works fine in Chrome and Firefox.
No errors in logs are detected.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Set up a rule in Admin/Mail Integration to pick up emails from a mailbox and create issues for each in a project
2. Send an email to that address
3. Issue is created and one gets a reply about it with a link to the new issue.

What is the expected result?

I'd like to be able to customize that email

What happens instead?

The template for this message is absent in Admin/Notification Templates page.
And default email doesn't use Template Components (like footer.ftl) either
