Hi!

We have noticed recently that all information messages of commits related to tasks had disappeared. Recreating integration with repositories in "VCS Integration" settings didn't help. What's wrong? What should be done to fix it?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Select a channel and add a tab in Teams (with the '+' sign).
2.Choose the button 'Website' and enter as URL your YT address.
3.The logon screen appears. Try to log on the site.

What is the expected result?
The normal YT site (dashboard) should appear in the new Teams tab.

What happens instead?
Logging on fails, instead the logon screen appears again with an error message "Incorrect username or password.".

Please provide any additional information below.
This works with other websites, which also require a logon.
Teams version is 1.3.00.362 from 2020-01-22 and YT version is 2019.3 Build 64090.

In former version it worked (but we don't know til which version) and it depends furthermore on the standard app setting for the web browser. Neither firefox nor chrome nor edge did work.

We have a bunch of rules which need to retrieve mentioned users and take appropriate actions.

In two cases, we have a project with restricted visibility, and all mentioned users must be added to the issue.permittedGroups or comment.permittedGroups (depending on the project).

Mention handling in workflows is quite cumbersome.

Every time a rule needs to detect mentioned people, it must use the logic used in jetbrains-youtrack-notifyMentionedUser or something similar.

It would be ideal instead to have this information as part of the Issue and IssueComment entities so we can simply loop through Issue.mentions or IssueComment.mentions sets.

That would reduce the amount of code to write and maintain.
Of course, I could write a custom script with helper functions and import it where needed.
However, it's still a workaround to something YouTrack could provide as part of the information of an issue.
Moreover, dealing with custom script is often painful as every time a change is made there, all scripts using it must be modified in order for them to see the changes (and you seem to not be willing to solve this problem).

In date field, it has no choice to change it to pick Persian date. But we need Persian date picker.

Hi, would you please add feature that able us set start and end date of "last month" in time report.
I want to set period of time report to "last month" but need to set start date and end date. (custom variable value)
for example I want to set start date from 21th September till 20th October.
and it will work like this in next month. I mean automatically start date from 21 October to 20 November and so on.

When you press enter on the issue title, it enters a newline. Then, if you continue typing, it removes it. A confusing UX. Also, if editing an issue title, the newline it donesn't get cleared when you continue typing. Additionally, IMHO a good behavior for ENTER on the issue title would be to jump to the issue body.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.Push button "New Issue"
2.Change only issue attributes, not issue title
3.Do not change issue title

What is the expected result?

Issue created without title or with autogenerated title

What happens instead?

Issue cannot be created while title is not set

We starting to using YouTrack as task tracker and project management tool, not as bug tracker. Our project doesn't require to create tasks with titles, all necessary information stored in issue attributes and requirement of entering unused title confuse users.

I see here two possible solutions:

Make issue titles optional for creating issue
Make possible to change issue title type to enum or autogenerated depending from some issue fields

Upload into the article a file with size ~ 20MB
Check the error message

Expected: .... was rejected because its size (20489617)
Actual: Could not attach file. 400 Bad Request. the request was rejected because its size (10489617) exceeds the configured maximum (10485760)

Note: Maybe it's better to convert to MB? How it does YouTrack for example.

Related to JT-23861, please consider a separate user right to be able to silently apply commands. The Project Admin right is too loose to grant to everyone to just get this ability. There are several places in our issue tracking workflow where it makes sense for non-admin users to silently apply changes and add comments.
