Often we use Basecamp for more client-facing project management. It would be great if an issue could be created within YouTrack from a Basecamp to-do. Ideally it would then retain a link to the Basecamp to-do. Perhaps there could be optional preferences so that comments on the YouTrack issue could be posted back to Basecamp, and closing the YouTrack issue could close the Basecamp to-do.
The workflow might be that a client creates the to-do in Basecamp, then we accept it by bringing it into YouTrack. Or a graphic designer creates the to-do in Basecamp, then a programmer brings it into YouTrack.
Related, I'd also love to see Basecamp supported directly as a task server in your IDE's– I've posted that as a feature request for RubyMine.
