When trying to do monospace text with the full {monospace} tag, with a dash as the first character after the opening tag, the monospace tag also adds a newline and bullet.
For example,
here is my {monospace}-argument{monospace} in a bunch of other text
renders as:
here is my -argument in a bunch of other text
Using double brackets works fine, however:
here is my { {-argument}} in a bunch of other text
(I had to put a space between the first and second bracket before -argument, to prevent it from interpreting that text as monospace) renders as:
here is my -argument in a bunch of other text
Also, there's nothing on the Wiki about a dash being a bulleted list, so it's especially surprising behavior.
