Not sure if this has been logged previously. Couldn't find a related issue:
It would be nice to have url as a type for custom fields. Having these as clickable external links would be handy for things like linking to related Sharepoint locations, for example.
I know we can add links in the description using wiki markup, but it would be handy to do this with fields that you could then manage with workflows etc.
