We use an on-line version of the YouTrack. The site is http://cel.myjetbrains.com
Yesterday a project member could change a task Status, for example. But today all the fields are read-only for her. As far as I remember I didn't modify any permissions yesterday. I just added a new project to the system. Hope it should not affect other projects, but, by fact, the project member lost permissions for all the projects she participated in.
May be there was a global update for YouTrack on your servers?
