What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install YouTrack as a service, set-up and use it, create users, issues, allow time to pass...
2. Follow YouTrack upgrade instructions
3. At end of upgrade, allow the installer to restart the YouTrack service
What is the expected result?
YouTrack is updated, fully configured, finds existing youtrack data with all users and issues preserved.
What happens instead?
Prompted to enter details as per a fresh YouTrack install. Does not find youtrack config, users or issues.
Please provide any additional information below.
After finishing the upgrade, went via Control Panel to check Services to confirm that YouTrack was definitely running as a Windows Service, not as a user process. It was.
Restarting the whole machine enabled YouTrack to find the youtrack data we wanted. All stored in C:\teamsysdata.
