I'd like to be able to focus the backlog and press Ctrl-N or "Create Task" button to create a new task there. But there's no way to focus the backlog (which incidentally also makes it impossible to focus tasks in the backlog to execute commands on them).
As a workaround I create the task in the orphans tray at the bottom, then drag it into the backlog. But dragging into the backlog is a somewhat broken experience: after I drop the task there, a scrollbar appears in the backlog unnecessarily and I can't see all the tasks until I reload.
Related, if I drag an issue card from a swimlane into the backlog, I get an unexpected result: The swimlane itself appears in the backlog, with the task I dragged as a subtask. I think that should be considered a bug.
