What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select several tasks with the spacebar, and these tasks are near the bottom of the page. Maybe type a command to perform on them.
2. Scroll to the top of the page to look at some tasks up there.
3. Get a coffee.
4. Click on one of the tasks at the top of the page.
5. Type a command to perform on it.
What is the expected result?
Your command is performed on the task you clicked on in step 4, which is highlighted in light blue.
What happens instead?
Your command is performed on a bunch of tasks you can't see off the bottom of the screen.
Please provide any additional information below.
True the command window does tell you "3 tasks selected". But if you're just typing quickly (such as rapidly typing "for me"), you're not looking at that window because it appears when you press the "f" in "for me" and disappears a moment later when you press enter. This has happened to me several times and since there's no undo, it's pretty annoying. The fact that the single task does have a selection highlight, and is the only selected thing in view, but it isn't the task your command will be performed on, is a pretty bad UI when it happens. That light blue highlight is the same highlight that indicates your command would work on this task, if you hadn't previously selected some other tasks with the spacebar.
Suggested solution: A banner on the agile board that says "3 tasks selected", which you can prominently see before you start typing a command. That banner could also have a "Deselect all" button.
