Just select a project Rider or Idea, past created: * .. 2018-03-10 into the search field and try to find issues.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add time tracking to project
2. Add work time to issue
3. Unable to make the selection of work item type mandatory

What is the expected result?
Need to make work item type mandatory, like other issue fields

What happens instead?
Defaults to blank type causing problems in accurate time reporting

We don't allow making the state value resolved/unresolved from the board, this can be done only on the custom fields page. Users are confused when they open the value to edit and cannot make it resolved/unresolved (see video attached).
It'd be better not to show it at all and to suggest editing only the name.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open issue in chrome browser tab.
  2. Open agile board on next tab
  3. Open next 4 issues from agile board on different tabs
  4. At this time, when 6 tabs are open in the browser, on any change in the agile board page hangs on wait progress and does not finish loading the changes.
  5. Only when I close any one of opened tabs, then everything is running fine and progress finish the loading on agile.

What is the expected result?
It looks like that there is some limit on open tabs count per user (it seams to be a 5). Is it possible to open more tabs then 5 per user? It works in previous version of YT well.

What happens instead?

On the YouTrack feedback form, it says "commertial" when it should say "commercial". Not sure if this is the proper place for this, but I wanted to document it somewhere.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create an issue in a project with time tracking
  2. Add a tracked time to the issue
  3. Mouse over the timestamp beside the issue history

What is the expected result?
Expected to see a full timestamp tooltip with exact date and time.

What happens instead?
Nothing.

It's been frustrating as a developer when I am trying to gauge exactly when an issue was changed/updated and I cannot.

Hello!

Seeking help please! I have successfully set up the email integration so that emails create new tickets in YouTrack. However, I am unable to successfully reply to the email to add a comment.

Can you please walk me through how to set that up? I've done a bit of research and playing around with the from and to email settings but that doesn't seem to work. Each reply I send just creates a new ticket.

Also, can images be attached via email? How will they display in the ticket? Can you mention a user by name (@ user) and will it tag them like it typically does in an issue?

Lastly, is there an easy way to pull the email of the reported in the ticket itself? I want to use this to track any users that do not have a youtrack account but still occasionally submit requests.

  • hitting reply from the YouTrack generated email should add a new comment to an existing ticket

What happens instead?
  • Every reply I submit creates a new ticket!
